Blessed with another day! We truly give thanks that we have learned to live in the present and trust that what ever the future may bring is God's will. What a comforting way to live life..
Bella never recovered from all of the procedures yesterday. Nurse Susan watched and waited then found the doctor and told him he had to do something. They changed her back to the other respirator and offered her less oxygen support and what do you know it worked! Her stats are in the 90s and she is getting 60 percent oxygen today.
She is getting another platelette transfusion again today. Her body may be using these up still to fight this infection. They did another blood culture today and we are praying that soon the results come back negative.
Her kidneys are causing some concern. The good news is that we know they can work but the bad news is that they aren't working right now. She is starting to retain fluids.
Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts, words and deeds but most importantly thank you for your prayers.
What a strong spirit baby Bella extols! Such a tiny body taking on such a tough feat. She is a blessing. Hold on baby Bella. We are lifting you up in our prayers. May you feel all the love that surrounds you. Hugs and kisses to all of the Cobb family!

ReplyDeleteOur father in Heaven Please continue to hold this sweet lil angel in your hands and keep her safe. Please heal lil Bella so we may all witness the miracles sent straight from your home on high to our homes here on earth if it be your will dear father. Please continue to hold tight to Bella's family and wrap your arms around them and keep them strong as each day goes by and Bella gets stronger. Please heal her tiny kidneys and help them to flush her body of excess fluids. May the sweet angels continue to sit beside her and whisper sweet heavenly lullabys into her ears and may their wings softly flutter around her to continue to heal her skin and breathe life into her. She is your little soilder dear Lord and continues to fight. God Bless the little children and God bless the Cobb family in this trying times. Keep them strong dear Lord. In your precious name we ask. Amen
