Day 50!

So Bella was switched back to the traditional ventilator around 4am. She wasnt doing well on the oscillator, so they decided to make the change. She's now doing great. Right now she's on 58% oxygen and her saturation is in the 90s. Her blood gas looks pretty good too. It seems there is no real science to ventilating Bella. Basically, if it aint broke, dont fix it. The frustrating part is that it seems to break every 10 days or so and we have to fix it. No much else to talk about...She's been eating well and hopefully gaining some weight (I havent heard an update since she was 1.9lbs 2 days ago). Since she's back on the traditional vent, we'll get to hold her this week, if she continues to do well. God bless.

  1. Thank you Great and all powerful heavenly father for working yet another miracle for us to witness with Bella. Please continue to hold her and her family during this trying time and bring her home safely to her loving family happy , healthy and full of giggles. Please continue to breathe into her body and heal her and help her to grow and gain weight daily as only you can Father. Thank you for guiding her care givers hands and minds in the way you need them to follow to help Bella. Thank you for allowing the angels to sit with Bella each day and wrap their beautiful wings softly around her and her family. Help them Father to feel your presence as they sit with Bella and admire your work of one of your perfect lil angels. Please help her sats stay strong, her body to heal and function to get her home to her family here on earth.Thank you again for helping Bella to gain more weight and become a little stronger each day. Touch her eyes and ears Father and heal them if need be. We know it is your will and not ours that all will be as you see it to be . Thank you Father for lifting up this family and keeping them strong in their faith. They love you Father as you love them and we thank you for the gift of Bella for this family. Amen. God bless the little children and God Bless the Cobb family and all you allow to have a hand in this miracle of yours.
